4 Schools Assisted by Motorworld as Part of the Annual “Adopt-A-School” Program
Since the launch of the Adopt-A-School Program in 2021, Motorworld has allocated funds towards schools to assist with any area of need identified within the school(s), classroom(s), and by the respective school management annually.
Driven by the company’s firm belief in education and investing in the sustainability of our communities, the Adopt-A-School initiative allows Motorworld to adopt up to five schools each year, where each school would qualify for the sponsorship/support of a maximum of $1000.
5 requests were received from primary and high schools in 2024, focusing on upgrading and beautifying their facilities, and improving the schools’ hygiene and necessary classroom equipment. For example, projects included supplying printers, providing materials for a gardening project, constructing a media lab/library for students, an animal-friendly pigeon nesting prevention plan and repairing a roof.
“Investing in our schools helps to build a foundation for our students to develop knowledge and opportunities. It’s our pleasure to assist them any way we can in building an atmosphere that inspires them to learn,” shares the Managing Director, of Motorworld Group of Companies, Tariq Amjad.
This year, funds were allocated to the Seventh-Day Adventist School, 721 Kids Foundation, Milton Peters College and MAC John A. Gumbs Campus. Motorworld is proud to embark on this journey annually and encourages all educational institutions to prepare for the continuation of the program for the following school year. Requests can include furniture, supplies tools or specific projects the school would like to take on. Schools can expect to be contacted to participate in the program during the 2nd quarter of 2025 or contact the company for further information.
